Rudolf Schenker on Teaming Up With Megadeth for Tour

Starting September 14, Megadeth & Scorpions will embark on a tour accross North American. Loudwire recently had the opportunity to speak with Scorpions guitarist Rudolf Schenker. He spoke about his relationship with Dave Mustaine and elaborated on how this package came together. "It came through our booking agent. He came up with the idea and because we know Megadeth — I know Dave very well. I ran into him in Tokyo when we did the Classic Rock Awards with Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck and Joe Perry and the guys from Def Leppard and Richie Sambora. We understood each other very well and somehow, we were running into each other at different music and I read an interview did where he mentioned me as his favorite rhythm guitar player including Malcolm Young."
