Megadeth and Iron Maiden have added items to an EMI artists auction benefiting the Red Cross's Japan earthquake and tsunami aid efforts. Megadeth's donation to the auction is a guitar signed by Dave Mustaine. Iron Maiden have donated exclusive artwork signed by the band and a set of drumsticks used by drummer Nicko McBrain. Other items have also been donated by artists including the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and Coldplay.
