Megadeth front man Dave Mustaine's mother-in-law, who suffers from Alzheimer's, has been missing for almost three weeks, and the distraught singer says he now just hopes someone may have picked her up – and that if they turn her in, there will be no questions asked.
"We are not interested in prosecuting anyone," Mustaine tells PEOPLE. "If anyone has taken her and are afraid to turn her in, no one is going to punish them. We just want to find out where she's at."
