Question
Dear ScorpioN,
Now that Megadeth is signed to Roadrunner Records, A strictly metal label, will the next release return Megadeth back to a speed/thrash metal style again and not as much pop like on KIMB or PSBWB? or will it be another TSHF, where all styles of megadeth are visible like how "Kick the Chair" sounds like it belongs on Rust In Peace and "The Scorpion" sounds like it belongs on Youthanasia
Thanks, Megafan,
Jaisen Wallace
by the way, you're cool enough to be tattoo' d on my back
MEGADETH RULES THE WORLD
Answer
I have to admit, I'm a bit baffled by your question mate. If you really believe that the word "pop" and the albums "Killing is My Business...and Business is Good!" and "Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?" belong in the same description (much less the same sentence) then we need to have a serious talk. That is VERY disturbing terminology to be used to describe those two albums. Dave Mustaine has said many times that each new album is not going to be "another ________" (fill in the blank with a Megadeth album title), and that it will be unique, new and different than all of their previous work. With that said, I'd say the chances of the new album being "another TSHF" are slim to none. I'd also say that their new record label having anything to do with the style of the album is bullocks...and that it will be Megadeth record that will reflect this day and age, much like all of their past albums have done at the time they were recorded.
In closing, I have a question for you my friend. When you got me tattooed on yer back...did it sting? ;-)~
