They are called the "Recycled Orchestra", made up of children who live in the village of Cateura, built on top of the largest garbage dump in the Paraguayan capital of Asuncion, and the film they are making is called "Landfill Harmonic". The utterly amazing and touching "Landfill Harmonic" tells the story of a group of young musicians who create music with instruments made out of trash. Ecologist and music teacher Favio Chavez organized the awe-inspiring group of young students to create the orchestra.
The musicians will be joining Megadeth on stage at Gigantour in Broomfield, Colorado Friday, August 2 to perform "Symphony Of Destruction". This very special performance will be filmed and included in the "Landfill Harmonic" documentary. Watch a film trailer below.
