December 22, 2010 - DUTCH DATE ADDED TO 'EUROPEAN CARNAGE' TOUR
Eindhoven, Holland has been added to the 2011 "European Carnage" spring tour, featuring co-headliners Megadeth and Slayer set to kick off in Kiev, Russia on March 13 and will wrap up in Eindhoven on April 14. Two of the bands that defined the thrash/metal genre, Megadeth and Slayer will assault their way from one end of Europe to the other. December 17, 2010 - DAVID ELLEFSON INTERVIEWED BY ULTIMATE GUITAR
David Ellefson recently spoke to Ultimate-Guitar.com's Robert Gray about the progress of the songwriting sessions for Megadeth's next studio album, tentatively due in late 2011 via Roadrunner Records. Musical ideas for Megadeth's thirteenth studio album are at an early stage of course. "I think they're very cool and obviously they're very heavy" assures Ellefson. "I think more than the actual material though... because again, at this point everybody has some individual ideas or some collective ideas that are at least established. More than anything though, I think we're excited about it because we've had such a great year of reconnecting.
