March 30, 2008 - DAVE MUSTAINE: "CHRIS [BRODERICK] IS A PHENOMENAL PLAYER"
Phil Freeman of Metal Edge magazine recently conducted an interview with Dave Mustaine. An excerpt from the chat follows: "Chris is a phenomenal player. He's really aggressive, he's got strong hands, the solos sound remarkably like Marty Friedman and remarkably like Chris Poland, and those are areas that every one of the predecessors had difficulty with. I told Chris last night, he was down here at our studio, and I told him, "I feel kinda like Ozzy felt when he discovered Randy [Rhoads]."" March 29, 2008 - DAVE MUSTAINE TO GUEST ON DAVE NAVARRO'S 'SPREAD TV' APRIL 10
Be sure to catch Dave Mustaine on “Dave Navarro’s SpreadTV” on April 10th for a brand new Season 3. Don’t miss these two guitarist legends on stage together for the very first time! The show will have Dave on for a full hour; 1/2 interview and 1/2 Dave giving Navarro a guitar lesson. An interesting tidbit is that Dave's guitars had not yet made it back from tour in Europe, so at the last minute, Chad Bardon from Mania TV was able to get Gary Harrison, a Dean Distrubtor from Long Beach, to drive up a guitar for Dave to use to give Navarro a lesson! Today marks the day that Megadeth will play in India for the very first time and also wraps up this leg of the 'Tour Of Duty' world tour, which has taken the band through Europe and the UK these past two months.
