CTV.ca recently conducted an interview with Dave Mustaine about his soon-to-be-published autobiography, "Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir". "In Toronto this week to do press in advance of the book's release next Tuesday, the metal star, 48, is now a bit more weathered, although he still sports the same wavy orangish hair that drapes down his shoulders, and a T-shirt and jeans that appear to have been with him since the 1980s. His look and the music, that much remains. But according to Mustaine, everything else has changed."

July 29, 2010 - MEGADETH TO PERFOM AT TORONTO'S MOLSON AMPHITHEATRE TONIGHT
Canada's metal contingent have been waiting a long time for this. The aptly-titled "Canadian Carnage" tour finally hits the Molson Amphitheatre tonight, Thursday July 29. Initially slated for November 2009, "Canadian Carnage" features Megadeth and Slayer performing a string of co-headlining shows with special guests, Testament. Dave Mustaine was at Chapters in Toronto last night to sign copies of his new autobiography, "Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir". This was the first date of Dave's North American book-singing tour. Eric Lewis of Times&Transcript has published the following article: "It's been an interesting few months for the metal music community since the "Big Four" of the thrash metal movement in the 1980s finally buried hatchets and hit the road through Europe together. Two of those groups are now - finally - heading to Moncton. The "Canadian Carnage" tour, featuring Megadeth, Slayer and Testament, will take place tonight (Tuesday, July 27) at the Moncton Coliseum at 6:40 p.m. Mustaine was excited about his band's Moncton date. Al Kratina for Canada.com caught up with Dave Mustaine prior to Megadeth's performance at Montreal's Heavy Metal Festival on July 24. "That whole period, going from Panic to Metallica to Megadeth, that seemed like it was over in the blink of an eye," Mustaine says. "One day, I'm a teenager playing in a backyard beer-keg party band, the next day I'm in a rehearsal room starting one of the greatest heavy metal bands in the world.
