Canada's metal contingent have been waiting a long time for this. The aptly-titled "Canadian Carnage" tour finally hits the Molson Amphitheatre tonight, Thursday July 29. Initially slated for November 2009, "Canadian Carnage" features Megadeth and Slayer performing a string of co-headlining shows with special guests, Testament. Dave Mustaine was at Chapters in Toronto last night to sign copies of his new autobiography, "Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir". This was the first date of Dave's North American book-singing tour. Al Kratina for Canada.com caught up with Dave Mustaine prior to Megadeth's performance at Montreal's Heavy Metal Festival on July 24. "That whole period, going from Panic to Metallica to Megadeth, that seemed like it was over in the blink of an eye," Mustaine says. "One day, I'm a teenager playing in a backyard beer-keg party band, the next day I'm in a rehearsal room starting one of the greatest heavy metal bands in the world. And then a year later, I'm in one of the second-greatest heavy metal bands in the world." MORE
